Regionally Accomplished Muralist

Christoph Johnson is originally from Roberta, Georgia and currently lives in Columbus, Georgia. He received his BFA from Clemson University and his MFA in Studio Art from the University of South Carolina. For 10 years, Chris served as the Associate Professor of Art/Director of the Fine Art Program at Andrew College in Cuthbert, GA.

In 2019, Chris Johnson was awarded the Governor’s Award for the Art and Humanities for his efforts to revitalize communities through large-scale public art murals. Chris has over 100 murals throughout the Southeast and is working with more communities to help create public art throughout the region.
